Barn doors slide along a surface-mounted track above the opening. Done well - and we do them well - they are an architectural statement, not a farmhouse cliché. We use blackened-steel and brushed-brass tracks, custom-length runs, and our full door library so the slab itself reads as bespoke rather than off-the-shelf.
