Options

By Function

You can choose between dummy, entrance, passage or privacy.  You can find the function described below.

A dummy set is the best choice for doors that don't require a mechanical latch (non-operating) such as hallway doors,  double doors, closet, cabinets or bi-fold pantry doors. Dummy sets function as pulls and does not turn. Dummy sets are surface-mounted and require no mortise, or hole, through the face of the door. Usually, take only a few minutes to install with screws.

Entrance

A passage set that allows the functioning of a bolt into a door strike, without the ability to lock the mechanism. Normally used for interior doors that do not need locks but do require a latching feature. (No locking is required)

Usually used on bathroom doors and any other door that needs to be locked from the inside. A push-button is provided on the knob/lever, pushing the button to fix the outside handle. A clearance hole is provided in the outside knob/lever to permit the lock to be released with a nail if needed. Privacy locks should not be used to secure an exterior door.
