The Door district is being the official distributor to Convex. Convex is a company Greece based, founded in 1991 with the main activity the design and production of metal implements as the unique, high-quality, aesthetic door levers, locks, and accessories.

Magnetic Mortise

Magnetic Mortise for Passage/Privacy
A magnetic flush-mounted latch/privacy lock, with no protrusions on the lock front as the spring latch
retracts into the casing and therefore sits perfectly flush with the faceplate/door panel
The privacy turn & release locks the latch also functioning as a bolt but leaving the handle-free to operate.
Magnetic Mortise for Entrance
A magnetic, flush-mounted Euro Profile lock case, with no protrusions on the lock front as the spring latch.
retracts into the casing and therefore sits perfectly flush with the faceplate/door panel.
The Euro profile cylinder locks the latch also functioning as a bolt but leaving the handle-free to operate.

Door lock cylinder is made of high-grade metals, for long-lasting durability. Featuring enhanced intrusion protection, drill and bump resistant. A coded key card supplied in every package, to enhance key security.

 By Function

You can choose between dummy, entrance, passage or privacy.  You can find the function described below.

Dummy

    A dummy set is the best choice for doors that don't require a mechanical latch (non-operating) such as hallway doors,  double doors, closet, cabinets or bi-fold pantry doors. Dummy sets function as pulls and does not turn. Dummy sets are surface-mounted and require no mortise, or hole, through the face of the door. Usually, take only a few minutes to install with screws.

    Passage

      A passage set that allows the functioning of a bolt into a door strike, without the ability to lock the mechanism. Normally used for interior doors that do not need locks but do require a latching feature. (No locking is required)

      Privacy

        Usually used on bathroom doors and any other door that needs to be locked from the inside. A push-button is provided on the knob/lever, pushing the button to fix the outside handle. A clearance hole is provided in the outside knob/lever to permit the lock to be released with a nail if needed. Privacy locks should not be used to secure an exterior door.

        Entrance

          This is a lockset that operates with a key. This is the most common type of lock and chances are, you probably have them on your home or office now.
          Single Cylinder
          Manually operated bolt for entry door with a keyed cylinder on the exterior and thumb turn on the interior. The lock may be locked or unlocked with a key from the outside and the turn-piece allows locking or unlocking without a key from the inside.
          Double Cylinder
          Manually operated bolt for entry door with a keyed cylinder on both the exterior and interior. Locking and unlocking can be accomplished only with a key.

              Warranties & Certificates

              CONVEX AEBE was certified in November 2010 for the implementation of its quality system by ISO 9001: 2008 and in March of  2019 with ISO 14001: 2015 environmental management system. 

              CONVEX upon trying to ensure even more the quality of its products utilizes external certified laboratories which perform tests like :

              Resistance test in salt spray cabin according to EN 1670:2007 “Building hardware. Corrosion resistance. Requirements and test methods.”

              CONVEX collaborates with Italian laboratory LAPI spa for antifire tests on door handles according to EN 1634 -2: 2008 –“ Fire resistance and smoke control test for door shutter and openable window assemblies and elements of building hardware"

              The Hellenic Copper Development Institute certifies that CONVEX has the right to use the internationally acknowledged trademark Cu+ on its antimicrobial product range.

              Convex guarantees that the open/close mechanism incorporated in its door handles will not break before 200.000 openings and closures.

              CONVEX guarantees a 10-year duration, for chrome-plated products or parts of products, without a sign of any corrosion formation on the surface.
